Currently, he is Std 1 attched to a private schoo, in Cheras,but we are planning to buy a home in Subang Jaya.Can you advise us if the SS17 school in Subang Jaya still has the dyslexia programme for the children? My son will be going to school next year and we as parents are cracking our heads hoping to make good wise decision about which school. Fortunately for us, I have been sending my son to a remedial reading class and he is able to read in no time. However, he seems lost in maths so I hope to find a remedial maths prog if there is a suitable one available. I still am looking and studying. I am so glad to know there are govt schools with dyslexia prog. B4 this, I am considering he will join my eldest at a private school where classroom size is still small or even homeschooling (but I am determined to try a real school environment first). He'll be in std 1 next year and choice of school for him is worrying. The psych however does not encourage me to put him in a govt school special class as his condition is only "mild". Been looking for a suitable school (public / private) for him around PJ / KL / Subang Jaya, even small after school classes that maybe he can join if he goes into normal class in govt school.
