Living with Dyslexia in Malaysia

New Subang Centre – 15 April 2009

IMG_2503

The Association has been on the look out for a bigger premise at Subang Jaya for some time as there is a long waiting list of students wanting to enroll at the Subang Centre. Due to space constraints we could not take in more than 20 students.

In mid-April, the new Centre at USJ 4 was opened. This corner house (also known as the Yellow house)– as per the photo attached, is more spacious and can accommodate another 2 classes.

New Address: 2, Jln USJ 4/4B Subang UEP. Tel:  8023 0919

  2. Hi Suet,

Would like to ask a few questions which I do not seem to be able to get answers. Where can I get my 8 year old girl to be assessed for dyslexia? Reason being, either no one answer the phone that is listed or the phone is not in service. This includes the phone number listed for your Subang branch ie 03-5631 3919 (tiada dalam perkhidmatan). Greatly appreciate your assistance.

    Regards,
    CS

  3. My son has benefitted from the Dyslexia Association in Malaysia and goes to this wonderful Subang Jaya centre.

Thank you for putting up this website for other parents to be aware of this centre’s existence.

    Best wishes

  4. I’m a bit confused with the centre’s contact no as normally for Subang Jaya area the number normally starts with 563x xxxx but here it appears as 8023 0919. Tried to call earlier but sounded like fax line. If i scroll lower, the SJ centre’s no appeared as 5631 3919 but there’s a voice message that tells the number is not in service. Can someone tell me how to contact this centre?

  5. Dear Suet,

I’m a master student from University of Malaya. I’m interested in the field of special education and in the process of writing a dissertation on dyslexia. I face a difficulty in accessing chidren (preschoolers) as the subject of study. Is it possible that I do a case study in your centre ?

    Thank
